This Blog tries to help advanced students of English to improve their exams. Our aim is to clearify the operator verbs in use by the department of education of Lower-Saxony.
This Blog is subdivided into two parts. The first section deals with the 14 different operator verbs. To begin with, you will find a definition of each operator verb. Next, there are some examples for possible questions using the operator verb. Then you will find a description and some collocations and words you can generally use when confronted with the operator verb. Additionally, we added advice to some of the operator verbs.The second section is dedicated to practise. You will find two complete exams which can give you an idea what your final test in year 12 may look like. You can use it for practise, as well. Have fun and good luck!
